Coral + Turquoise

Top: Asos Shorts: Asos Sandals: Asos Purse: Rebecca Minkoff Necklace: BaubleBar Sunglasses:  Gucci
Every season there's a few colors that we currently associate that season with: Fall with camel and burgundy, Winter with black and grey, Spring with pastels, and, Summer with neons. For me I associate Summer with turquoise. I honestly don't know why but every summer I can't wait to wear turquoise so when BaubleBar released this necklace, it was a no brainer that I needed to purchase it. The beauty about turquoise pieces is that they can easily be paired with any color. This outfit also looks like I'm ready for a Miami Dolphins and since football preseason has already kicked off, it's also the perfect game day outfit.

Another day...

Another day, another off the shoulder top. I wasn't kidding when I said I stocked up on off-the-shoulder pieces at the beginning of the summer. These fringe heels are finally restocked in all colors and currently 40% off; they're so comfortable and highly recommend you purchase a pair. By the way, off-the-shoulder tops are all the rage right now and I recommend you purchase some ASAP, because they're not only comfortable, they're also the right amount of sexy. I honestly own about 7 off-the-shoulder tops and I have just ordered 3 more for my vacation next weekend.

Summer days

Dress: Asos Sandals: Zara (Similar herehere, and here) Hat: Forever 21 Sunglasses: Illesteva Bracelets: Studded cuffTasseled cuffWhite TasselTasseled bracelet, and Tasseled charm bracelet
When it comes to summers in Miami it isn't as glamorous as the movies or people believe it to be - it's either unbearably hot or nonstop rain. In the middle of the nonstop rain, the skies cleared up and I was able to venture out to the beach and enjoy it for a few hours. We actually didn't stay near the beach for too long but we did hangout near the boardwalk and in the area. This dress is perfect for spending a day near the beach or at brunch because it is so lightweight and it actually didn't make me sweat up a storm like I normally do. If I am being honest this dress makes me feel like a ballerina and all I really want to do was twirl around all day like a 5 year old.

Sailing Away

Top: Forever 21 Pants: Zara (Similar herehere, and here) Shoes: ChloĆ© Earrings: BaubleBar Necklace: BaubleBar Purse: Gucci (also avail. here) Sunglasses: Illesteva
This outfit would've been a perfect Fourth of July outfit but it's also a perfect summer nautical outfit. I don't know if it was the red, white, and blue, the culottes, or the tassels, but it instantly gave me a complete nautical vibe. I wanted to pair this outfit with these slides but since I was going out to lunch, I decided to pair it with my ChloĆ© scalloped flats for a little bit more of a dressier look. As for these earrings, everyone needs to purchase a pair! The earrings are so lightweight and tassels are huge this season!

Palm in my Hand

Dress: Topshop (Jumpsuit version) Sandals: Topshop Purse: Rebecca Minkoff Necklaces: Y-shaped necklacelong pearl necklace Sunglasses: Illesteva
I've heard that in some parts of the country the weather is starting to drop but not Miami, we actually reached the 100s this weekend. When the heat gets unbearable I don't even try to put on bottoms and turn to loose clothing, like this slip dress. Slip dresses are the easiest answer to surviving the summer heat because they're lightweight, they're easy, and they don't get stuck to you. I wore this dress a few weeks ago to the Refinery 29 festival and although it wrinkles easy, it is the perfect summer dress! There's a month left until summer is officially over, but in Miami the heat isn't stopping so I recommend purchasing a few slip dresses because you can dress them up or down and still remain cool.

Flarin' it

Top: Asos Jeans: Nordstrom Shoes: Steve Madden Purse: Nordstrom Sunglasses: Illesteva
I was obsessed with flare jeans for years and then I decided to give skinny jeans a shot, and then boyfriend jeans and I never grabbed a pair of flare jeans; until now at least. With the 70s trends coming back I decided to purchase a pair online and not even try a pair on and I am so glad that I made this impulsive purchase. I snagged this pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale for under $40 and I couldn't be more satisfied with the fit and the material. When it comes to an impulse purchase or something I know I will not be wearing for seasons to come I try to spend as little as possible. If I would've found a pair of nice flare jeans at a fraction at the price I would've purchased them. The best part is that flare jeans elongates your legs and you look so much taller. Of course I paired them with an off-the-shoulder top to finish off a 70s inspired look. I finished this outfit with my highest wedges and I felt like I was floating because the wedges are so lightweight and are so comfy! I kept the accessories to the minimum since the flare jeans and the off-the-shoulder top has enough of a flow detail that you don't need a statement necklace or bracelets.
