Valentine's Day Look #1

Sweater: Asos Skirt: J. Crew (Same one here) Shoes: Zara (Similar here and here) Necklace: BaubleBar Earrings: BaubleBar
Valentine's Day is one of the girliest holidays ever - hearts, flowers, the colors red and pink, and chocolate? It's like a girls perfect day. I'll take a opportunity I can get to dress up for a holiday and since pink isn't one of my favorite colors, I wear red every single year. For the past few years I've taken Valentine's Day as a day to do a small and special gesture for my friends and family. Just because you're single it doesn't mean you have to opt out of Valentine's Day activities. For the next two weeks, I will be showing possible outfits for different events. This look would be perfect for date night and since Miami is in the middle of a cold-front, this sweater is perfect.

Grey Winter Dress

Dress: Ann Taylor Shoes: Zara (Similar herehere, and here) Earrings: BaubleBar
For the past week there is a cold-front in Miami and by cold-front I mean the temperature has been in the 50s. I wear pants about five days a week and even though were in the middle of a cold-front, somedays I like to say no to pants and turn to dresses and skirts. Thankfully, sweater dresses were big this season so when I came across this sweater and leather dress combo at Ann Taylor, I knew I had found the perfect solution for night-outs on Miami cold nights. I've also worn this dress with flats, and sandals, throughout the day to run errands or even when Miami wasn't in the middle of a cold-front.

Topshop x Nordstrom & Leopard

Top: Topshop x Nordstrom Pants: Piperlime Shoes: Steve Madden Clutch: Clare Vivier Necklace: Coordinates Bar and Fringe Necklace Bracelet: Emoji BraceletMeme Coffee Bracelet, and Hermes Rings: BaubleBar
I tend to add leopard to my outfit without even realizing it, but I decided to include at least one post a week with an outfit that I have A Touch of Leopard. I've had this Clare Vivier clutch on my wish list for almost a year but it was always on backorder and finally the shopping gods were on my side and I was able to score this baby back in October. It is my favorite clutch and it really does live up too all the hype. During the winter time I complain at least twice-a-day about how I hate that Miami doesn't really experience Winter and I have to find alternatives to my favorites like leather pants. These pants are perfect! I've worn them on days were it is 80 degrees out and it doesn't make me feel like I'm melting. By the way, I might've just purchased this top in another color because of how comfortable it is because after all if it's so nice might as well by it twice.

New Years Outfit

Top: Ann Taylor Pants: Piperlime Heels: Zara (Similar herehere, and here) Earrings: Gorjana
I've been wanting to wear a pair of sequin pants for over a year in a half but I just didn't feel comfortable. Yes, I sometimes feel uncomfortable wearing something, but since I believe you should try every trend once, I decided this year I would wear something covered in sequins. These pants sat in my cart for quite some time because I kept trying to talk myself out of wearing them but I decided to just purchase them. I do not regret purchasing them. They're actually super comfortable and since they already add a lot to my outfit I decided to wear no accessories besides earrings. I can't wait to find another excuse to wear these pants.

Breezy Miami Days

Sweater: Skull Cashmere Pants: Piperlime Sandals: Steve Madden Purse: Mansur Gavriel
Last year I decided to make a spontaneous purchase and buy this cashmere sweater. I got to wear it a total of four times and three of those times was not while I was in Miami. This "winter," if that's what you call the slight cold front Miami has been receiving lately, I haven't been able to wear it. Luckily the past few days mornings in Miami have been 54 to 58 degrees and this weekend I decided to wake up bright and early, when the temperature was still 54 degrees, and enjoy a couple of hours in this warm sweater. Even though it is 54 degrees and for Miami it is considered freezing, I decided to leave the boots in my closet and enjoy my favorite time of year - the breezy Miami days.
