Boyfriend style

Top: American Eagle ( Similar here, here, and here) Shorts: Blush Boutique Hat: Asos Shoes: Steve Madden Purse: Mansur Gavriel Necklace: BaubleBar Sunglasses: Gucci

It is true I love boyfriend style pieces: boyfriend shorts, boyfriend jeans, boyfriend t-shirts, and boyfriend button-down shirts. There is something about a boyfriend style piece that provides the comfort of sweatpants but can still look effortlessly put together. I wore this outfit all through summer and to run errands last weekend but I wanted to give it a Fall feel. Transitioning into fall seems like a nearly impossible task here in Miami, especially since the temperature is still at a solid 92 degrees Fahrenheit. I've become determined to incorporate Fall into my outfits and to still remain cool so I took this summer look and turned it into a Fall outfit by adding darker colors like wine and black. This outfit can even be worn on a night out on the town to fight the heat and humidity by pairing it with a dark bootie and a smaller bag. By the way these Birkenstock-style sandals are the most comfortable sandals to-date and although they're not the prettiest, they give your feet a break.

What outfits are you transitioning from Summer to Fall?

Overalls

Top: Asos Overalls: Macy's Shoes: Converse Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Growing up I lived in overalls: shorts, pants, skirts, and dresses and when they disappeared my heart broke. Truthfully, when they returned I was hesitant because I thought I was going to look like a 10-year old girl but on an impulse buying trip, I decided to bite the bullet and add a pair to my closet. I lived in these short overalls all summer, and now for Autumn and Winter I purchased a pair of pants overalls that will be used a little too much. With Disney World being a three-hour drive from Miami, I visit quite a few times a year, and on one trip I decided to bring my overalls along and pair them with a high-top sneaker for comfort. If you haven't purchased a pair of overalls, I say go for it! They go with everything and it will always look like a brand new pair. Think of a pair of overalls as a pair of jeans, you can use them nonstop and people will never notice. Plus, models dressed in overalls were seen making their way down the NYFW catwalks, which means you will be able to wear your overalls well into Spring and Summer 2015.

How are you planning to wear overalls this weekend?

Fall in Miami

Top: Asos Jeans: Zara Vest: Nordstrom Shoes: Zara Necklace: BaubleBar Earrings: Gorjana Rings: BaubleBar (Crystal ringCrown midi ring, Initial ring and Pearl ring
Fall has officially arrived! It is no secret that in Miami there is no leaves falling, no temperature drop, and people are not quick to break out their scarves and boots. I've spent the last few weeks expressing how sad I am that I cannot break out a trench coat and enjoy the dropping temperatures as the leaves change colors, but then I remembered I had this trench coat-like vest in my closet and decided to break it out to celebrate the first official day of Autumn. If you live in a city that is still experiencing weather in the high 90s, this vest is perfect and can be worn with flats, heels and over shorts, skirts, or jeans.

What do you look forward to wearing this fall?

Last day of Summer.....well kind of

Top: Old Navy Skirt: Joie Hat: Asos Shoes: Chanel Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Necklace: BaubleBar (Similar)
and BaubleBar Rings: BaubleBar (crystal ringpearl ringcrown ring, and initial ring)

The last full day of Summer was yesterday but here in Miami the temperatures are showing no sign of dropping below 95 degrees Fahrenheit anytime soon. The easiest solution in beating the summer heat is LINEN. The word linen makes some people cringe because of it wrinkling so easily, and I used to be one of those people until I came across this Joie Chambray Skirt. At the beginning of the summer I was looking for the perfect chambray pieces, and this skirt made me reconsider my opinion about linen. I know believe the wrinkles in linen pieces add character to your outfit. I decided to wear an all linen outfit to survive and celebrate the last full day of "Summer."

How did you wear linen this summer?

It is official! A Touch of Leopard has officially launched and I can not be more excited! For months I have been anxiously waiting for this day to introduce you guys to my likes, dislikes, the thought behind the outfits I put together and how I stay inspired.

I first came up with the idea to launch A Touch of Leopard because for over a year in a half several of my close friends have tried to convince me to do so, and overanalyzing I wanted to think of every detail before I made a decision, and then I contacted the amazing Kelly of Kelly Christine Studio and she made it all possible.

I am excited to start this journey and if you have any suggestions please feel free to leave them below.
