I'm back!

Jacket: Who What Wear x Target Shirt: Nordstrom Jeans: Rachel Roy Boots: Steve Madden (also avail. here and here) Necklace: BaubleBar Purse: Mansur Gavriel
Yes I know, I haven't posted an outfit in quite some time but I AM BACK! I needed a hiatus and I will explain at a later date but I felt uninspired and needed to clear my mind. I actually wore this outfit on Sunday to celebrate the Superbowl; since I wasn't really rooting for any team I decided to wear my new blue suede moto jacket that was part of the Who What Wear for Target collection. I paired it with my go-to all black look and this shirt is actually a tunic that I own in 3 different colors.

Winter in Miami, I know that's a sentence that you aren't used to hearing, but lately it has been cold in South Florida. By cold I mean the temperature has been in the 40s and 50s and by noon the temperature reaches the 60s.  These fringe boots have been my go-to shoe since October and I'm pretty sure my friends, family, and co-workers are tired of seeing them but they're so comfy. They're currently on sale and I recommend you pick up a pair. Also, let's talk about this necklace! It has easily become my favorite necklace in all of my collection and I wear it about 3 to 4 times a week. Whenever I wear this necklace, I get stopped and a bunch of compliments. The best thing about this necklace is that it doesn't weigh as much as you think it does.

Queen of Hearts

Skirt: Asos Top: Asos Shoes: Zara (Similar herehere, and here) Earrings: BaubleBar

Here's look number two of the Valentine's Day series I will be doing over the next week. I fell in love with this look and will most likely be wearing this on Valentine's Day. Last year Alice and Olivia designed this beautiful dress and I was so sad when I couldn't purchase one for myself. This outfit is the closest to that dress I will get. The weather was super windy and it worked both against and in my favor; my wild hair and the Marilyn Monroe like skirt lift.

Grey Winter Dress

Dress: Ann Taylor Shoes: Zara (Similar herehere, and here) Earrings: BaubleBar
For the past week there is a cold-front in Miami and by cold-front I mean the temperature has been in the 50s. I wear pants about five days a week and even though were in the middle of a cold-front, somedays I like to say no to pants and turn to dresses and skirts. Thankfully, sweater dresses were big this season so when I came across this sweater and leather dress combo at Ann Taylor, I knew I had found the perfect solution for night-outs on Miami cold nights. I've also worn this dress with flats, and sandals, throughout the day to run errands or even when Miami wasn't in the middle of a cold-front.

Topshop x Nordstrom & Leopard

Top: Topshop x Nordstrom Pants: Piperlime Shoes: Steve Madden Clutch: Clare Vivier Necklace: Coordinates Bar and Fringe Necklace Bracelet: Emoji BraceletMeme Coffee Bracelet, and Hermes Rings: BaubleBar
I tend to add leopard to my outfit without even realizing it, but I decided to include at least one post a week with an outfit that I have A Touch of Leopard. I've had this Clare Vivier clutch on my wish list for almost a year but it was always on backorder and finally the shopping gods were on my side and I was able to score this baby back in October. It is my favorite clutch and it really does live up too all the hype. During the winter time I complain at least twice-a-day about how I hate that Miami doesn't really experience Winter and I have to find alternatives to my favorites like leather pants. These pants are perfect! I've worn them on days were it is 80 degrees out and it doesn't make me feel like I'm melting. By the way, I might've just purchased this top in another color because of how comfortable it is because after all if it's so nice might as well by it twice.

Breezy Miami Days

Sweater: Skull Cashmere Pants: Piperlime Sandals: Steve Madden Purse: Mansur Gavriel
Last year I decided to make a spontaneous purchase and buy this cashmere sweater. I got to wear it a total of four times and three of those times was not while I was in Miami. This "winter," if that's what you call the slight cold front Miami has been receiving lately, I haven't been able to wear it. Luckily the past few days mornings in Miami have been 54 to 58 degrees and this weekend I decided to wake up bright and early, when the temperature was still 54 degrees, and enjoy a couple of hours in this warm sweater. Even though it is 54 degrees and for Miami it is considered freezing, I decided to leave the boots in my closet and enjoy my favorite time of year - the breezy Miami days.

Happy First Day of Winter: Holiday Look #1

Top: Ann Taylor Skirt: Loft Shoes: Zara (Similar here and here) Earrings: BaubleBar
Today's the first day of Winter and in Miami it doesn't make a difference because the weather is back to being in the 70s. I am jealous of the people who live in cities that notice the change of Fall to Winter. The only thing that let's us know that the seasons have changed from Fall to Winter is that the holiday parties begin to take place. I love the holidays because not only is it a happy time, but it gives us women the excuse to wear sequins, glitter, gold or silver without feeling too overdressed.

When Loft first came out with this skirt I didn't think twice when purchasing it because it would have been a perfect outfit for our family Christmas party. Since the skirt is already a gold color, I decided to pair it with nude and off-white to not draw more attention to my outfit and I kept my accessories to a minimum. You don't want to look like a disco ball at the party you're attending.
