Hello 27!

Oh I turn 27 today and I am feeling all sorts of emotions - happy, anxiety, and relief. Happy because I am excited to start a brand new chapter - chapter 27 and I am a tad bit anxious because I hate the feeling of the unknown and after chapter 26, I am unsure what to expect in chapter 27. At the same time I am feeling relieved because chapter 26 was a whirlwind. After chapter 26 I figured it was best for me to share with you the things I learned in year 26 and will make sure to bring with me into year 27.

Below are the 10 things I learned in year 26:
1) It is okay to not be okay.
2) Things happen for a reason
3) Not all friendships are permanent.
4) Sometimes a good playlist and a good cry is all you really need.
5) The importance of a morning and a night time routine.
6) Real friends will stick by your side, regardless of the situation.
7) It's the littlest things that matter.
8) At the end of the day, a hug and a good laugh is the best medicine - for anything.
9) Change is constant and you need to be able to adapt.
10) Love is the greatest thing ever.

Goodbye Summer; Hello Autumn

Today's officially the first day of Autumn. Well in Miami the weather is still in the 90s so its still "Summer" here but I couldn't be more excited for the start of a new season. Looking back on this summer, I loved every little piece about it. It consisted of a lot of Disney show tunes, if you follow me on Snapchat you know exactly what I meant.
These photos were actually taken at the beginning of the summer during a brunch outing with some friends; hence all the candids. But I felt like these pictures were perfect to sum up my summer: a lot of chokers and off-the-shoulder tops, discovering new spots in Miami and just laughing at everything. If I'm completely honest i'll probably be wearing off-the-shoulder tops up until November because I can't get enough of them so I apologize in advance.

SUMMER LIVING

SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY HERE! Even though the summer heat arrived in Miami over a month ago. I've created a mini summer bucket list and it's based on completing items that make me feel free and nothing but happiness. Especially with all the terrible things happening in the world, everyone should try their best to live 100% happy. 

This tunic is currently one of my favorite clothing pieces in my closet because it makes me want to twirl around laughing all-day long, the feminine lace-detail, and no matter how many times I wear it I always get compliments. I actually bought the sleeveless version to this top.

I've expressed several times that pink isn't at the top of the list of my favorite colors; I actually own a handful of pink items. This wall instantly caught my eye because of how bright and I thought it paired perfectly with my sandals. These sandals are my new favorite Spring purchase and I will be wearing them from now until September so I apologize in advance if I show them too many times. As for the color coral, it is a staple in my spring and summer wardrobe and I can't wait to pair this dress with different items.

I spent last week exploring Miami and when I saw the flamingo wall below, I knew it went perfectly with this entire outfit. I also have this secret obsession with flamingos.
