Summer's Ending

Summer is coming to an end and although in Miami it will be "summer" until about mid-November, I am trying to get the most use of my summer pieces before I turn to dark colors. This dress I purchased last year from Nordstrom but I loved it so much I couldn't wait to bring it back out. Topshop no longer has this dress available but I've linked some similar dresses above. If you've been following me along all summer, all I've lived in are off-the-shoulder pieces and chokers. Especially with the heat being 95+ degrees all summer long. As for these sandals, they're currently on sale for only $15 so run before they sell out! Also, good news; I will be returning to regular schedule with my outfit posts :)

Taco Tuesday

It's Taco Tuesday -insert taco emoji- so lets tac-o these shoes! I had to include that lovely pun, hahaha. As you might already know, I never turn down tacos so when Amo Luz created these beautiful espadrilles I couldn't be more excited. I think these might currently be my favorite pair of shoes in my closet at the moment. As for this shirt, I felt like it paired perfectly with my taco tuesday espadrilles because of the big ruffled sleeves. The best part is that it's less than $20. Plus, it still let me show off my shoulders without it being an off-the-shoulder top; which is currently my go-to item. This outfit pretty much sums up my favorite summer outfit: a choker, a pair of fun espadrilles, and a shoulder-baring top.

Lately all I want to wear is all black with different pops of colors. Yellow's one of my favorite color but whenever I reach for a yellow item to pair with black, I get hesitant because nobody wants to be dressed like a bumblebee. When I came across this clutch last year when buying items for my trip to Mexico, I knew that I needed to add more yellow to my outfits. This clutch is actually currently up to 25% off. 

By the way this leather jacket might just be my favorite item currently in my closet. It's also less than $100.
